Assessment for conscious sedation: what can your nurse do?

Recording: Available for six weeks.

Teaching and Learning:  An online presentation and discussion with an opportunity for questions.   

Aims and Objectives:

  • To have increased knowledge of how to gain accurate and detailed information about the patient’s medical history
  • To have increased knowledge of the role of the dental nurse in conscious sedation
  • To have increased knowledge of medical conditions that may impact on the provision of conscious sedation
  • To know the importance of guidelines for sedation in primary care
