Mentors List
Persons with Clinical Experience in Sedation Techniques
The Dental Sedation Teachers Group (DSTG) and the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD) have jointly agreed to maintain a list of experienced practitioners willing to provide clinical experience in conscious sedation techniques. The practitioners are willing and able to provide clinical experience in sedation techniques for interested practitioners (and perhaps also dental nurses).
The type and extent of experience on offer will vary from practice to practice, ranging from occasional observation to greater clinical involvement in the administration of sedation.
The list is simply a means of putting student and “mentor” in touch. Arrangements will then be made privately. Neither DSTG nor SAAD intend to be involved in formal education and training schedules, although informal advice may be offered.
