This year there will be a joint meeting between DSTG and ADA and this will be a one and half day event. Welcome and Registration will be from 9.00 to 10.00 am on Friday 9th May and the Symposium will finish with lunch on Saturday 10th May. Delegates may register using the form available on this webpage. The theme of the Symposium is 'New Directions in Sedation' and there are sessions on Politics and Postgraduate Education, Clinical Teaching, The Mental Capacity Act, Medico-legal Aspects of Anaesthesia and Clinical Practice. There is also a Free Paper session as usual and for the first time, the opportunity to present posters. Please note the deadline for submission of abstracts is 4th April 2008.

Committee Members please note that the ADA Council Meeting will take place on Thursday 8th May at 2.30pm and the DSTG Committee Meeting will take place on Thursday 8th May at 4.00pm.

DSTG Annual Symposium

The titles of the Symposium: 'Facing the Future', 'Postgraduate Sedation Education - Diversity or Standard Pathway - Which Way?', Celebrating Excellence in Sedation. These were the themes for the day and they produced an interesting and lively meeting for over 150 delegates that were present. A full report will appear here shortly.
